Founded by the late Dr Rebecca Hawkins, RHP is an Oxford based consultancy business passionate about the capacity of tourism to be a positive agent of change.
We believe that creating positive conditions for economic growth, sustaining the natural environment, nurturing cultural industries and generating pride in place are not mutually exclusive and instead come together to make our world better for everyone.

Dr Rebecca Hawkins was an extraordinary individual and change maker, setting the stage for responsible travel industry for over 25 years. At the end of October 2023, Rebecca left the world a better place than she found it – and with a huge legacy of work, friendships and ideas.

Michelle – Director
Working alongside Rebecca at RHP for over 14 years, Michelle brings a breath of ESG topic knowledge and operational understanding to RHP. An experienced project and programme manager with a particular interest in circular economy, her practical approach to implementing ideas and policy choices for organisations and continued passion to tread lightly on the planet, are driving forces to deliver excellent outcomes.
