Founded by the late Dr Rebecca Hawkins, RHP is an Oxford based consultancy business passionate about the capacity of tourism to be a positive agent of change.
We believe that creating positive conditions for economic growth, sustaining the natural environment, nurturing cultural industries and generating pride in place are not mutually exclusive and instead come together to make our world better for everyone.

Rebecca – Managing Director
Dr Rebecca Hawkins was an extraordinary individual, a change maker who had worked in the responsible travel industry for over 25 years. Rebecca passed away in October 2023, missed deeply by family, friends, and colleagues. She leaves a legacy of work and the world a better place than she found it.

Working alongside Rebecca at RHP for over 14 years, Michelle brings a breath of experience working in the environmental and sustainability space to projects. An experienced project and programme manager with a particular interest in circular economy, her practical approach to implementing ideas and policy choices for organisations and continued passion to tread lightly on the planet are driving forces.
